Hello everyone! My name is Susan Xiao, and I am a senior at Bob Jones High School. I joined HOSA because wanted a better understanding of the medical field, and because I have always enjoyed science. Although i'm still undecided on a career path, I know I want to be a part of healthcare. In the past, I've competed in extemporaneous health poster and prepared speaking. outside of school, I enjoy drawing and reading. I hope we have a wonderful year together!

Hi everyone! My name is Nini Nguyen, and I'm a junior here at Bob Jones High School. I am extremely excited for this coming year with all of our members! My competitive event is Pharmacy Science, and I either want to study pharmacy or pediatric oncology. I joined HOSA because of its many opportunities and impact in the community, and I stayed because of all the amazing experiences and interactions I've had over the past three years. I have a multitude of passions, including philosophy, philanthropy, music, travel, photography, anthropology, and of course, healthcare and HOSA. Hi everyone! My name is Maanasi Limaye and I am a junior at BJHS. I want to be either a Surgeon or a Biomedical Researcher and my competitive event is Forensic Science. I joined HOSA to be a part of a community that shares the same interests as me and to explore various professions in healthcare. Hello, my name is Emily Lee, and I'm a sophomore at BJHS. I joined HOSA because of the wonderful opportunities they offer to teach students about healthcare, developing leadership skills, and serving others. At HOSA, I'm able to connect with many people with similar interests to mine in pursuing the field of medicine, and I'm so glad to be part of this club. Through my competitive event, Medical Terminology, I can explore the various careers in healthcare, and it motivates me even more to become a pediatrician or an immunologist in the future. Hey everyone! I'm Thais Arslanbekov, and I'm a rising sophomore. My event is Behavioral Health and I somehow managed to get into the top 6 at SLC last year (it was my first time!). I joined HOSA because I am extremely passionate about medicine (and always have been), and I'm sure that I want to continue in my professional future! I plan to become a rheumatologist or a neurobiologist! Also, I joined HOSA because of the wonderful atmosphere created by the amazing people! Everyone is very kind, supportive, and fun to be around with! In my free time, I relax by studying, reading books, and hanging out with my friends and Scottish fold cat!

My name is Hannah Evans, and I am an upcoming sophomore at Bob Jones. HOSA is a great opportunity to get insight on healthcare professions. When I joined HOSA in my freshman year, I was exposed to many things such as volunteer opportunities, competition, and a supportive atmosphere. I plan on spreading these opportunities as an officer. Along with being historian, I enjoy playing soccer, piano, and reading. Currently, I plan on pursuing a career as a dermatologist, and my competitive event is to be determined.
